I believe, there is a better way to give you the suit, the jacket, the coat, the collection – let’s just get to the point here – the feeling – that you really want. A more “tailored to you and your needs” (no pun intended), less “ooh you need a suit? Here is what I have” – approach.

this is My goal for Benjaminwirz:

Provide an extension to the identity you 1. want to be like 2. already have and 3. want to feel like.

These are my personal goals:

1. Keeping my word to myself and others no matter what.
2. Serve others to the best of my abilities while constantly improving and learning so said abilities become a bigger and bigger treasure.
3. When people hear my name, their mind should jump to the connection between clothes and confidence.

Let me take you back to the past for a second.

I still remember a specific moment when I was about 13 years old.

I was in Tenerife with my brother, my mother and my grandmother.

Pen in hand, notebook in front, I sat at a table waiting for dinner to arrive and I was doing one thing:

Drawing clothes.

There I was, dreaming about creating clothes for people who want something really cool to wear.

It should be special, it should make people look at themselves and go “Wow... I look sharp!”

I went on to sew – or recreate and mix – some clothes and as I developed a deep love for the designing of clothing, I  decided to get an apprenticeship as a tailor.

In my apprenticeship I learned the process behind – and the details that matter when – creating a garment. I also developed a love for beautiful materials and was excited to discover other – really special – fabrics I didn’t even know existed.

Why are the goals above my goals?
1. KEEPING MY WORD TO MYSELF AND OTHERS NO MATTER WHAT.

When I was younger, I made a ton of excuses. I made excuses for why I couldn‘t do my homework, finish a project in time or show up to practice on time – or at all – of any kind. I also found excuses to not study for an upcoming exam (until the night before – if even that) and so on. Looking back I would describe myself as lazy and unfocused. Not because I did not do anything at all – but because I mostly just did the things I wanted to do, when I felt like doing them.

In short and straight to the point: I had no discipline.

I realized that if I wanted to get serious with BENJAMINWIRZ, I have to change that, so I did.

Of course, this did not happen with the snap of a finger. In my opinion, I don’t arrive at “yay I have discipline now”, I am in the constant pursuit of executing discipline and it gets better and better.

I am way more disciplined than I used to be and you – right now – are reading this on my page as a result of a goal and the discipline to achieve said goal.

This brings me back to “keeping my word to myself and others no matter what”. Because in the end of the day, if I say I will do something to improve my skills daily to give you the best possible experience, I will do something to improve my skills daily to give you the best possible experience.

2. SERVE OTHERS TO THE BEST OF MY ABILITIES AND CONSTANTLY IMPROVE SO I CAN RAISE THE BAR FOR MYSELF.

I’ve found, that helping people – especially when I can hand them a phenomenal suit, a big smile and a feeling of confidence to go with it – fulfills me with a deep feeling of joy.

Every time, I can help somebody find the perfect suit for their needs and give them the amazing feeling I describe in the next goal of mine, I see myself as the 13 year old kid, realizing that a little bit of my dream is coming true.

I see it as my duty, to improve my skills and improve as a person, so I can stay on top of my game and provide the best possible solution for you.

3. WHEN PEOPLE HEAR MY NAME, THEIR MIND SHOULD JUMP TO THE CONNECTION BETWEEN CLOTHES AND CONFIDENCE.

I‘m going to take you back to my apprenticeship where I went from showing up at 9am (one hour later than everybody else – because I had a 2 hour commute and felt like taking that as a reason to sleep a little longer) – to getting up at 3:50am and show up at 7:00am.

So there I was one night. Tired and planing my next day. „That will be a tough one. At least I could dress up nice.“ I thought. So I prepared my favorite pair of pants, shoes and shirt to put on for work the next day.

At 3:45am – I woke up filled with energy to take on that day with my amazing outfit. The whole day, I had an amazing feeling of confidence in the way I was dressed and I could feel how my confidence was noticed by others. Not only did my confidence go up, but I also felt more capable to get the things done I need to get done with which ultimately affected the way I do things which in turn affected the outcome. It was one of the most productive and in general good days I ever had.

I felt like a rockstar.

And this is the feeling I want to pass on to you, by providing you with absolute masterpieces.
